Anirban Mukherjee is currently serving as Assistant
Professor of Sociology at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum University
(RGIPT), Uttar Pradesh. Prior to his engagement at RGIPT, he served as an Assistant
Professor at National Institute of Technology (NIT), Uttarakhand. Dr Mukherjee
has completed his doctoral research from Kansas State University, USA and his
areas of research interest include migration and diaspora studies, urban
sociology, and sociology of development. He has published many research papers
in international peer-reviewed journals and delivered invited talks in various
national and international conferences. Susham Biswas is Associate Professor and Head of Computer
Science and Engineering Department at RGIPT. He specializes in Geo-Informatics
Engg. and holds a Ph.D. from IIT Kanpur. He focuses on digitalization and the
processing of geospatial data for extraction of features using AI/ML techniques
for deriving various urban applications of energy, and environment. He has
significant industrial, teaching and research experience. He has published
several papers in national and international journals and peer-reviewed
conferences. He has won many accolades including receiving the prestigious
international award of Silver Medal at the ISPRS Congress (International
Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing).
