About the Book

Designed as a comprehensive guide for the candidates who prepare for the various competitive examinations, especially the IAS, NET, SLETand PCS, the present workbook contains 31 sets of original questions alongwith their keys. The questions are not recall type or memory based. They have been framed on assertion and reason, analysis, application, comparison, multiple selection, multiple choice and matching type with the set objective to develop a thorough understanding of the basic ideas and concepts of geography.

While framing questions, the UPSC Geography Preliminary Test syllabus was kept in mind.
