Our climate is no doubt changing. This is certain; less certain is the timing and magnitude of change. The objective of the book is to present a synthetic view of theoretical analysis and observations on climate, and policy issues within the broad conceptual matrix of geography. It is hoped that this book will be of immense use to scholars, researchers, geographers, environmentalists, professionals, policy makers and general readers as well.
M.Z.A. Khan is Senior Faculty, P.G. Department of Geography, Government College, Kota (Rajasthan). He has had a brilliant academic career throughout and has been awarded several prizes and scholarships for his academic achievements. His areas of research activity have been Agricultural, Environmental and Urban Geography, Geomorphology and Resource Management. Dr. Khan is engaged in research and teaching for more than two decades. An author/editor of more than ten books and numerous research articles, he has also participated in many national and international seminars/conferences on climate change. Sonal Gangawala did her postgraduation from Government College, Kota and later obtained her M.Phil. from University of Kota. Having an outstanding educational career, she has to her credit many research papers published in journals, proceedings and edited books. Her areas of academic interest are geomorphological changes, environmental management and climate change.
